Fubara is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Chartered Arbitrator, Economist and Tax practitioner. He is one of the founding partners of ǼLEX, a full service commercial and dispute resolution law firm with offices in four major cities across West Africa. He heads the firm’s Banking, Financial Services and Transportation Practices and is qualified to practice law in Nigeria, England and Wales and Ghana.

He has a multi-disciplinary academic background in Law, Economics, Management and Fiscal Policy. He advises on financial, corporate, commercial and fiscal issues that affect projects and companies in various industry sectors.

He advises clients from around the world on foreign direct investment into Nigeria. He was invited to participate in a Presidential Policy Advisory Committee where he was a member of the finance and investment sub-committee. He wrote the committee’s policy paper on foreign investment and privatization.

Fubara chairs or sits on boards of various companies and organizations. He was Chairman, and now a Trustee of the Capital Markets Solicitors Association. He is currently Chairman of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce Law and Taxation Committee and also a member of its ECOWAS / AFCFTA Regional Integration Committee. He was Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Nigerian Stock Exchange Investors Protection Fund.

Fubara is a Fellow or member of various professional Associations He is recognised as both a Global and National Leader in various practice areas by Who’s Who Legal and ranked as a Leading Individual by global rating Directories and Institutions such as Legal 500, Chambers and Partners and IFLR1000.

BARR. MRS. TAMUNOIBUEMI LIFE GEORGE

Tamunoibuemi is a highly skilled legal professional with over many years of experience in law, combining expertise across legal practice, political science, and administrative functions. She is adept in multiple areas of law, including mediation, arbitration, litigation, and negotiation, enabling her to provide comprehensive legal solutions.

Her diverse background has allowed her to serve in senior management roles in various organizations and government agencies, where she has consistently demonstrated her leadership and strategic capabilities. She currently serves on the Board of RSIPA as the Secretary.

Currently, Tamunoibuemi serves as the Vice-Chairperson of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), a global non-governmental organization focused on advocating for the rights and welfare of vulnerable populations, particularly women and children. In this role, she works to promote legal literacy, human rights, and access to justice for those in need.

Her contributions to the legal profession and social justice reflect her commitment to upholding the rule of law and empowering underrepresented communities. Tamunoibuemi’s extensive experience, combined with her passion for advocacy, positions her as a key figure in both the legal and humanitarian sectors.

Mr. Goodliffe Nmekini
Goodliffe Nmekini is the Managing Director (MD) of Tampa GeoSystems Limited located in Port Harcourt, a business endeavor that aims at serving the needs of the local and national markets through focused, innovative, and efficient products and services in areas of Information Technology (IT) and Geographic Information System (GIS).

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a Masters degree in Management Information Systems.

Before devoting his work full-time to Tampa Geosystems Limited, Goodliffe served as the Special Adviser to the Rivers State Governor on Information and Communication Technology (ICT). He built a conducive State Data Centre and implemented a Cloud Computing Service named RivCloud as the operational platform for ICT in the Rivers State Government.

Goodliffe was the Computer Services Managerfor Miami-Dade County, Miami, Florida. He was primarily responsible for analysis, design, and implementation of Enterprise Geographic Information Systems projects for the Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM) of the county.

Goodliffe has also taught undergraduate courses in Application of Geographic Information System in Natural Resources at Broward Community College, Davie, Florida.

Barr. HARVEY IDEOZU, FCIArb (UK), DSSRS
HARVEY IDEOZU, FCIArb (UK), DSSRS is a Corporate and Commercial lawyer with extensive experience in company operations support, corporate finance, joint ventures and strategic alliances. Highly skilled in contracts structuring and drafting, Oil and Gas ventures, regulatory compliance, insolvency, employment and labour, legal risk mitigation, and alternative dispute resolution, Harvey has a strong track record of attention to detail, accuracy, and exceptional critical thinking and research abilities.

Harvey who holds an LLM in Dispute Prevention & Resolution from the University of Westminster, London, with 35 years post-call to Bar experience, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration (UK), and a Member of the Business Recovery & Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN). Harvey has also had public sector experience as Special Adviser to the Governor of Rivers State on Revenue, Pensions and Budget, at various times.

Harvey is an enthusiastic golfer, amongst interests in travelling and current affairs.

Hon. Chamberlain S. Peterside, Ph.D, M.IoD

Chamberlain currently serves as the Director General (DG) of the Rivers State Investment Promotion Agency, where he leads efforts to attract and facilitate foreign and domestic investment by promoting the region and simplifying regulatory processes. In this role, he is instrumental in driving economic growth by engaging with investors and streamlining opportunities for regional development.

He previously served as the Commissioner for Finance in Rivers State (2011 – 2015), as well as a member of the Rivers State Economic Advisory Council (2007 – 2015).

Prior to his public sector engagement, he was with Merril Lynch Global Private Client Group in New York, USA, and Xcellon Capital Advisors in Lagos, Nigeria. He earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Friendship University Moscow in 1992.
