Rivers State ICT Dept. was created in 2008 to support & improve e-governance in public service delivery.
The department is dedicated to promoting the media sector, disseminating critical information about government policies, programs, and activities to the public. It plays a vital role in enhancing communication within the state by formulating and implementing strategies that develop the sector while ensuring that the people are well-informed about government actions. The department collaborates with other MDAs and inter-relating agencies, such as NAPTIP, to spread awareness on key issues.
