The Greater Port Harcourt City Development Authority (GPHCDA) is an agency established by the Rivers State Government to implement the master plan for the development of Greater Port Harcourt. This ambitious project focuses on transforming the Port Harcourt metropolitan area and its neighboring regions into a modern, sustainable urban hub. With an area spanning approximately 1,900 km², GPHCDA aims to create a well-planned city that balances residential, commercial, industrial, and recreational spaces.
